Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PlateHawk ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

PlateHawk is a subscription-based grocery planning application that provides AI-generated meal plans, local grocery deal aggregation, budget tracking, and related tools to help families save money on groceries.

Accounts

To use PlateHawk you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information when registering
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One account per person — creating duplicate accounts is not permitted.

Subscription and Billing

PlateHawk offers a 14-day free trial followed by a $2.99/month subscription.

• Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
• Prices may change with 30 days notice to your registered email

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you are not authorized to access
• Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works from the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Abuse the Hawtie AI chat in ways that violate our community standards

AI-Generated Content

PlateHawk uses artificial intelligence to generate meal plans and provide grocery recommendations. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate
• Meal plans and nutritional information are not medical or dietary advice
• You should verify deal prices and availability directly with retailers
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations

Intellectual Property

The PlateHawk name, logo, software, and content are owned by PlateHawk and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or copy our content without written permission.

You retain ownership of any personal data you submit to the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that deal data will be accurate or complete. Grocery deals and prices are sourced from third parties and may be subject to change or availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlateHawk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of savings or financial decisions made based on deal data.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@platehawk.ai.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
